High Off Music
Waking up at 8:30am on March 11th, despite falling asleep around 3:30am, I felt like I was on cloud nine, bouncing around in disbelief, I had just had the best performance to date!!
I was buzzing with happiness.
The experience was incredible! I can’t help but to be thankful that I’ve been blessed with a gift that I absolutely love sharing.
I get to meet some really amazing and extremely talented people on this journey of mine, especially the band members that I performed with on Friday night at Silvana.
Derrick Bourne strummed away beautifully on the bass, Jacob Pelletier was banging melodiously on the drums and Aya Kato played her heart out on the keyboards. After just ONE REHEARSAL!! We rocked the house like we’ve been playing for years! I couldn’t have done it without any of them and I am beyond grateful for each of them; they’re talents blew me away and it continues to blow me away.
The energy from the crowd was exceedingly intimate and exhilarating, I felt like I could have continued singing for another hour and they wouldn’t have had any qualms about it.
I love to sing because of this feeling, an absolute blissful sensation that I’m in the right place and I’m definitely doing the right thing.
I will never stop doing what I love because of this state of being.
To everyone who stopped your conversation just to listen and dance with me, thank you so much for making this journey exceptionally remarkable.
I do this for love.
